Dear Sir/Madam, 
We are pleased to invite you to the Erasmus+ Cluster Meeting and Contact-Making Seminar for the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) regions, which will be held on 1-2 October 2024 in Montevideo (Uruguay) and online.

The Cluster Meeting will provide a forum for Erasmus+ project beneficiaries, candidates and stakeholders to share knowledge and exchange experiences. In addition, the Contact-Making session will enable online and in-person networking among experienced and newcomer organisations interested in project cooperation, coming from the different countries in LAC, the European Union and third countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme

This year’s event has a thematic focus, namely Digital in Education, in line with the European Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027 and the EU-LAC Digital Alliance. The programme will feature project examples and panel discussions looking at how this theme is being tackled as part of the EU’s Global Gateway Strategy and in the European Education Area, and supported by the Erasmus+ programme.   

The organisers will provide participants with lunches and refreshments during the event days. All other costs should be covered by the participants themselves. Beneficiaries of ongoing Erasmus+ projects may cover their costs from their project budget. 

Please make sure that all partners of your project consortium are aware of this event, given that it is an unprecedented initiative aiming to accelerate the transnational cooperation among organisations that may benefit from the Erasmus+ programme. 

For your information, the event (hybrid format) will be in Spanish and English (interpretation will be provided).

Please note that the closing date for applications to attend in situ in Montevideo is Monday 16^th September 2024. The number of participants who can attend in situ is restricted and as a result we might not be able to accept all applications to join the event in person in Montevideo.
