"Is HTTP secure? Why not? We will explore some security concerns when transfering sensitive information over the HTTP protocol and what can we do in order to prevent the unintentional leakage of personal information.
What is HTTPS and why should I care? During the last months several popular Internet companies, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc., and also financial institutions are moving towards HTTPS. We will describe, in a nutshell, the HTTPS protocol and what is the importance of it for us as final users."
Formato de la reunión: En la primera parte habrá una presentación respecto al tema (HTTP Security). Luego, en la segunda parte, habrá oportunidad para que los asistentes experimenten con algunas herramientas descritas.
Se recomienda a los asistentes traer laptops.
