Dear Students,
For our lesson for today (November 9th.)
(1) The PPT file for 'Lesson 10.1' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section
(2) Here we have already explained how: Video Talk #1 evaluation ['An activity you like to do in your free time'] is going to work for us during this semester. You can still deliver this video, only take into account that you get a 5.0 as a top mark. You need to upload it to the 'tareas' section.
(3) Blog entry 4 has already been uploaded. Here's the link: https://english-4-fcqf.blogspot.com/2022/10/english-4-post-3-my-dream-job.html You need to deliver this activity by Nov. 11th.
For our next lesson (November 11th.)
(1) We will be working on our next lesson which will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (video debates)
(1.1) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles),
‘Biochemistry Undergraduate Research’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pa_49uFsLhs
(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions:
(2.1.1) Do you think the SURE program at Stonehill College helps undergraduate students to get relevant laboratory experience? Why yes? Why not?
(2.1.3) With the information provided by the video, comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevance.
Any questions you may have, either in English or Spanish, please feel free to write back.
Best Regards
