Dear Students,

For our lesson for today (Oct. 20th.)

(1) The PPT file and audio files for 'Lesson 2' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section

(2) The link for our lesson recording can be found in the ‘Clase Virtual’ section. You just click on the play icon to watch it

For our next lesson (Oct. 20th.)

(1) We will be working on our third synchronous lesson that will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (video debates)

(1.1) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles),  'PhD advice from Alison Woollard, Associate Professor of Biochemistry’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peSnzpV9lh4

(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions:

(2.1.1)  What was Professor Woollard's biggest challenge when doing a PhD? (00:29)

(2.1.2) With the information provided by the video and comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevance.

(3) The first and second blog entries are already uploaded in the next link: section6english4fcqf.blogspot.com/  for you to start your work. An assignment under the name of 'Your Blog Site link' has been created in the 'tareas' section for you to upload your blog links.

(4) We will explain, next week, how we will work with the 'Video 1' evaluation. We will focus on its procedures and format.

In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,

Best Regards
