Dear Students,

For our lesson for today (Oct. 13th.)

(1) The PPT file and audio files for 'Introductory Lesson' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section

(2) The link for our lesson recording can be found in the ‘Clase Virtual’ section. You just click on the play icon to watch it

For our next lesson (Oct. 18th.)

(1) We will be working on our first synchronous lesson that will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (video debates)

(1.1) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles),  'What your pharmacy is for' www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mf1I-oq86Yc

(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions:

(2.1.1)  According to Karen O'Brien (00:50), why should people go to a pharmacy instead of a GP (General Practitioner) or A&E (Accident and Emergency)?

(2.1.2) With the information provided by the video and comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevance.

(3) The first and second blog entries will be presented for you to start your work. In case you have already created a blog page, please keep this page as a host for your blog entries. In case you did not, this following Friday we will explain how to create a blog, and how the blog evaluation will work for you.

In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,

Best Regards
