UNIT 1: GETTING AROUND  Objective: being able to talk aboutplaces to go and things to do, make arrangements, etc.  Use of first conditional.

 Use of relative clauses: who, which,that, whose  Rules of basic punctuation and spelling (capitalization): exercises    Reading, listening, writing, and speaking activities.  Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation activities.

Estimadas y estimados estudiantes,

Esperamos que estén teniendo un excelente inicio de semestre. Les contamos que ya están abiertas las inscripciones para las Tutorías de Apoyo para Inglés (TAI) de la Unidad de Aprendizaje. Estas tutorías están dirigidas a quienes necesiten apoyo adicional en el aprendizaje del idioma y forman parte del programa de acompañamiento entre pares de la Universidad.

🗓 Las inscripciones estarán abiertas hasta el 28 de marzo.

🔹 ¿Quiénes pueden inscribirse?
Cualquier estudiante que quiera mejorar su inglés o sienta que necesita apoyo. Sin embargo, si su docente les ha recomendado participar, ¡les animamos a inscribirse!

🔹 Modalidad y niveles:
Este semestre habrá tres grupos:

  • Niveles 1 y 2 (juntos)
  • Niveles 3 y 4 (juntos)

Welcome to General English IV! My name is Camila Mardones, and I will be your teacher this semester.

Please note that the English Program starts on March 17th, so our first class will be on Tuesday, March 18th, at 18:00 in Aulario A, Room 3. This will also be our room on Thursdays.
