Dear Students, 

For today's lessons (January 08th.)

(1) The PPT files for 'Lesson 8' and 'Lesson 9' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section

(2) Our 2nd blog entry has already been uploaded. You can find it here, https://english-summer-arts-2024.blogspot.com/2023/12/english-4-post-2-choosing-between-the.html This entry is meant to be delivered next Jan. 8th.

(3) The Video Talk evaluation has already been uploaded. This file should be uploaded next Jan. 16th.

(4) We will have our 'Speaking Mid-Term' test next Thursday, Jan. 11th (12:00 - 13:30)

(4.1) The Speaking Mid-Term practice material has already been uploaded to the 'Material Docente' section

For our next lessons (January 09th.)

(1) We will be working on our lessons which will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (individual and group work: debating activities, video discussions, etc.)

(1.1.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following question(s):

(1.1.1.1) Can we merge/unite/mix Art and Design as a new interdisciplinary career path?
(1.1.1.2) Imagine yourselves as designers. How would you work with objects? Do they need to have full functionality? Do they need to have artistic meaning?
