Dear Students,
For today's lessons (January 02nd.)
(1) The PPT file for the 'Introductory Lesson' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section
(1.1) In the 'Intro Lesson' PPT you will find the course evaluation dates, and a formal introduction to this course, among other technicalities.
(2) The PPT file for 'Lesson 1' can be found in the 'Material Docente' section
(3) The Syllabus/Program document can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section which is an extensive document that deals with the lesson's activities and the evaluation dates for this semester
(4) The PDF '(S.1)_English_4_Summer_Course_Blog_&_Writing_Quiz_Instructions' file has already been uploaded to 'Material Docente'. This document lets you visualize how the blog activity sessions and the written quiz activity will be assessed/evaluated.
(5) Our 1st blog entry has already been uploaded. You can find it here, https://english-summer-arts-2024.blogspot.com/2023/12/english-4-post-1-country-you-would-like.html. Please read the entry and leave a comment. Then, create a blog page, write your entry and send your page link back to the 'Tareas: Blog Entries/Links' section. This entry is meant to be delivered next Jan. 5th.
For our next lessons (January 03rd.)
(1) We will be working on our lessons which will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (individual and group work: debating activities, video discussions, etc.)
(1.1) For our 1st lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles), ‘Behind the scenes: Set Design Model Box’, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC7IDv5PQeg
(1.1.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following question(s):
(1.1.1.1) Is there any design technique or other particular element that calls your attention? Please explain and tell us why.
(2.1) For our 2nd lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles), ‘Philharmonia Orchestra: Orchestra Unwrapped’, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G916hqXME_k
(2.1.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following question(s):
(2.1.1.1) Comment on one point that calls your attention
In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,
Best Regards
