Dear Students,
For our two lessons for today (Jan. 3rd.)
(1) The PPT file for the 'Introductory Lesson' and ‘Lesson 1’ can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section
(1.1) In the ‘Lesson 1’ PPT document you will find the framework of reference for you to construct your Biodata.
(1.1.2) You may upload your Biodata in the ‘Tareas’ Section. The last day for you to do upload this document is next Friday, Jan. 21st. If you upload this document after this date (Jan. 24th., tops), you will get a 6.0 as a top mark.
(1.2) In the 'Intro Lesson' PPT you will find the course evaluation dates, a formal introduction to this course, among other technicalities.
(2) The link for our lesson recording can be found in the ‘Clase Virtual’ section. You just click on the play icon to watch it
(3) The Syllabus (program) document can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section
For our next lessons (Jan. 4th)
(1) We will be working on our second and third synchronous lesson that will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (video debates)
(1.1) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles), 'How to get ready for university https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wyCkQN9rqY
(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions:
(2.1.1) In what way is this video presenting anything different or similar from your student life concerning people dealing with University as a future challenge? How did you deal with University when you were first-year students?
(2.2.2) With the information provided by the video comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevance.
